Prime 14th-Floor Office Space Leased in San Diego’s East Village, CAA Announces
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 26, 2021) — A prime office space in a Class A, high-rise office tower has been leased in San Diego’s East Village, Commercial Asset Advisors announced. The space is leased for a 70-month term within the DiamondView Tower at 350 10th Ave.
The tenant, who declined to be identified, will occupy a 14th-floor corner office of 6,448 square feet, with field views of Petco Park. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Matthew Monterroso and Mike Conger of Commercial Asset Advisors represented the tenant in negotiations. Ryan Grant, Jeff Oesterblad, and Camille Doan at CBRE represented the landlord, DivcoWest, which originally purchased the building in September 2017 for $207 million, or about $661 per square foot, CoStar data shows.
“We successfully negotiated a turnkey, custom buildout for our client, which is an uphill battle in this market,” said Monterroso. “Our in-depth knowledge of the tenant improvement process really worked to our client’s advantage and allowed us to successfully navigate these negotiations.”
DiamondView is located between 9th and 10th avenues and J and K streets immediately adjacent to Petco Park and Park at the Park. The office tower is 15 stories tall, with unmatched views to all levels of the ballpark, Downtown and San Diego Bay.
