As part of being an engaged community partner, Commercial Asset Advisors made recent donations to five local charities.
The charities benefit a range of good causes including helping San Diegans who are food insecure or facing homelessness, wounded veterans and children facing illness and economic insecurity.
“The CAA team lives, works and plays right here in San Diego County – and we want to give back to some of the nonprofits that are helping those less fortunate,” said Mike Conger, Principal of CAA. “We are happy to be able to support these organizations that are doing great work and making our region a welcoming place where everyone can thrive.”
Brian Jenkins, Principal of CAA, said that the nonprofits were selected with an eye toward those that provide local impact.
“We appreciate all the efforts by these nonprofits to improve the lives of people right here in San Diego,” Jenkins said. “From assisting wounded veterans to supporting healing for children, and providing food and housing for those in need, these charities are serving people throughout San Diego County with compassion and care.”

San Diego Food Bank: The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and its North County Food Bank chapter comprise the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County.
Father Joe’s Villages: Through innovative housing and comprehensive services, Father Joe’s Villages helps people leave homelessness behind.
Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation: The Foundation funds lifesaving technology and research, provides a safety net for children with little or no private medical insurance and creates a healing environment for patients and their families.
Wounded Warrior Project: Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that helps veterans and active-duty service members, including those who have been injured or are living with PTSD.
City Surf Project: The Project ensures youth have equitable access to the ocean through surf instruction. Surfing is a vehicle to improve the health and well-being of local youth, helping them achieve resiliency skills, leadership and job skills, environmental stewardship and a sense of belonging.
