Michael Wilkerson is a driven commercial real estate professional with a strong foundation in business, leadership, and competitive athletics. He graduated magna cum laude with honors from the University of North Carolina Asheville, earning a degree in Business Management in 2024. His academic success reflects the same discipline, resilience, and focus that defined his career as a high-level athlete.

Michael began his collegiate soccer journey competing at the Division I level for the University of San Diego before completing his career at UNC Asheville, where he also served as an officer on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and an officer for the Mental Health Ambassador Program. Before college, Michael competed with the MLS academy Atlanta United FC, further developing the competitive mindset and teamwork skills that now drive his success in real estate.

His early professional experience includes an internship with Adaptive Realty in Los Angeles, working directly with founder Moses Kagan. There, Michael gained hands-on expertise in property valuation, deal underwriting, acquisitions, and asset management. He engaged with the brokerage community, built pro forma financial models, and participated in the sourcing and analysis of investment opportunities. This experience sharpened his ability to identify value, assess risk, and contribute to long-term real estate strategy.

Today, Michael works across all facets of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and investment sales. He is actively involved in tenant and landlord representation, buyer and seller advisory, market research, and deal underwriting, giving him a well-rounded perspective to serve a wide range of clients. Michael’s ability to combine strategic insight with strong communication and relationship-building makes him a trusted advisor for businesses, investors, and property owners navigating today’s dynamic market.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys the gym, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends. His background as a former Division I team captain and his experience leading peers in athletics and student organizations have instilled in him a leadership style rooted in authenticity, empathy, and drive.
