Maxwell Brown is a seasoned professional specializing in San Diego County’s private capital multifamily market since 2020. Maxwell began his Multifamily career as an Intern at CBRE on an experienced team of Multifamily brokers. Maxwell was known as the first employee in CBRE San Diego company history to personally procure, lead, and close multiple investment sales transactions as an intern. Maxwell was quickly transitioned to a Multifamily Investment Sales Associate where he spent the next 3 years building his expertise and reputation in the marketplace before transitioning to Commercial Asset Advisors to better serve his clients. 

In his first 3 years of brokerage, Maxwell has personally procured north of $55M in Multifamily Sales and generated over $250M in offers on behalf of trusted clients while also participating in an additional $200M+ of team transactions. Maxwell is renowned for setting numerous shattering records in the price per unit, price per square foot, and record low cap rate metrics in the majority of his Seller Representation closings while also devising new trends in Multifamily marketing strategies. Maxwell was one of the first brokers to include return on metric valuations for ADU potential in his marketing packages for Multifamily opportunities.

Before venturing into the world of commercial real estate, Maxwell honed his analytical skills as a financial analyst in the commercial credit processing industry while spending free time learning the nuances of Multifamily Real Estate investment, brokerage, and operations. Beginning in 8th grade, not yet 5 feet tall or 100 pounds, he successfully ran a business focused on the restoration and resale of high-end bicycles and classic cars out of his parent’s garage. This early entrepreneurial experience laid the foundation for his sales and asset marketing skills.
